I enjoyed my stay at Nuevo Maragato Hotel & Hostel thanks to its fantastic location right in the heart of San Jose. The free breakfast was a nice addition, though I found it a bit minimal. The staff (especially Luis at the front desk) were helpful and friendly throughout my visit. However, I did experience some noise issues from the bustling street outside, so I'd recommend asking for a room away from the central avenue if you're a light sleeper.
